Wanting to design a glass that would be instantly recognizable as a drinking cup for Japanese sake, Sori Yanagi took two years to create this glass intended to hold clear, refined sake. The thick, rounded design of the rim draws out the unique taste and texture of Japanese sake.
We recommend the small-sized 70 ml (2.4 fl oz) glass when paired with a carafe, and the larger 125 ml (4.2 fl oz) glass when pouring directly from a sake bottle. The 4.2 oz sake glass also fits and pairs perfectly with the Kimasu.
